The Reichmann Co. is a South African software studio that designs, engineers, and ships its own products. We build real software, not slideware, and we hold ourselves to the standard of work we would happily pay for.

01 — Who we are

Founder-led, end to end.

The studio is led by Franco Reichmann, an engineer who deals with clients directly. No sales layer, no account managers, no game of telephone. You talk to the person writing the code, and that keeps the work honest.

We believe software should feel as good as it works. The way a screen responds, the speed of a save, the quiet absence of friction. Those details are not polish added at the end. They are the work.

And we build real products, not slideware. Lumarix, our Windows-native ERP and accounting platform for South African business, is already shipping in beta. Veritas, an accounting product, is in research.

Sensible architecture and tests where they pay back. The software is made to hold up under real use, and the code you inherit on day 365 still reads clearly.

Honest partnership

You deal directly with the engineer building it. Clear scope, plain language, and no sales layer in between. If something is a bad idea, we will say so.

Yours to keep

You own the code and the accounts. Full handover, no lock-in, and no renting access to your own product. The work is yours, properly.

Smooth by default

The difference between fine and excellent is a hundred small things. We sweat them, so the software feels effortless and gets out of your way.
